The bible teaches us that God loves us equally whether you're a sinner or a true believer, but God is always waiting to accept the sinners who are ready to repent and turn away from sin. Throughout Scripture, God showed patience toward people who had sinned, warning them of danger and calling them to change their ways. His desire is not the destruction of sinners but their repentance and salvation.
God's protection should not be viewed as approval of sinful behavior. The Bible makes it clear that persistent and unrepentant sin brings consequences. Those who turn to God in faith and seek His forgiveness can find refuge in His mercy and grace.
Psalm 34:18 says, "The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit."
