Solo Saturday with an unlimited budget? Now, this question sounds simple, but for a mom of three like me, it is actually a serious question, but there is always a way out, you know.
A completely free Saturday means no one will be there to call mummy this or that; hubby too wouldn't be around to ask where my belt, my food, and my glass are, and the list continues. 🤣 Oh boy, no standing up for hours to cook heaven and earth either, nor will I do laundry or make calls related to business as Mrs. Hustling I am, lol, just me and myself, sweet!
Do I even know where to start treating myself for real? It feels unreal for me because I have never dreamt of having such an opportunity since motherhood crept in, lol. But then, if money was not a challenge in any way, and yeah, I have the whole day all to myself, see what I may be up to;
The first in my list is undiluted sleep without any kid touching me, asking Mummy to wake up, I poo,come and clean me up, I am hungry, I am this or that because, honestly, sometimes, these kids don't even know that I also need sleep. It's tiring sometimes, so yeah, I will first grab a quality long sleep like someone without any responsibility. 😊 Not even those alarms waking me up anyhow, just a golden opportunity to rest well and be refreshed!
Secondly, I will visit a beautiful place and enjoy my own company in peace, maybe a nature park preferably, enjoying good food, music in the background, drinks, and reflections, and fresh breath without thinking about anyone, this feeling is heavenly, indeed.
I have been overbusy year to year without having time to care for myself, always postponing it without finally getting to do so... I really wish for this in reality, but I also know it's doable.
Finally, I will round up with a shopping without checking the price tag. What an unlimited budget, so sweet I must confess . 😂😂 And this time at least for once, no one will ask me 1000 times with that little voice whether I really need this or that 😉. Don't you think we can save this money for food stuff? And I will nod my head and keep managing; this time, I will just shop all for myself and be happy.
All the beautiful things I have admired from afar will be mine: nice hang bags, perfume, shoes, and any other women's items that catch my eyes must follow me home without an apology. 😍
Who wouldn't enjoy a day with no responsibilities for hours, especially moms? I will for sure.And maybe after spending the whole day enjoying myself by myself... I would get back home feeling quite refreshed and ready to hear, “Mummy, welcome!” from three different directions clustering my life, and I hope to come home with nylon filled with snacks and drinks to calm their nerves as well for missing Mummy the whole day 😂
