Greetings dear Hive community, this is the first time I post here and I bring another week of work with my faculty group, I attend the UBA and I am developing a product with some colleagues as final thesis but before I start I want to thank again to all those who have followed closely this work, although sometimes read and may notice that I am stressed I assure you that I enjoy what I do. Welcome to my post once again, I am Nitsu and after a while I can finally bring you good news I think this will be our best option, but well, there is nothing else to do but wait to present it and see what the professors say.
Saludos querida comunidad de Hive, es la primera vez que publico por aquí y traigo otra semana de trabajo junto a mi grupo de la facultad, asisto a la UBA y estoy desarrollando un producto junto con unos compañeros como tesis final de carrera pero antes de comenzar quiero nuevamente agradecer a todos aquellos que han seguido de cerca este trabajo, aunque a veces lean y puedan notar que estoy estresado les aseguro que disfruto de lo que hago. Bienvenidos a mi post una vez, más soy Nitsu y luego de un tiempo al fin puedo traerles buenas noticias yo creo que esta será nuestra mejor opción, pero bueno, no queda otra que esperar a presentarla y ver que dicen los profesores.
After the big crisis that we had with my group in the last delivery, we put the batteries and began to generate ideas until we found one that seemed useful. We were between two very viable options, but we ended up deciding with one to move forward, on the one hand, we had found a product that was a dehydrator that has a system of plastic lids that fold on itself and becomes a briefcase, we thought it was excellent, but we were in doubt regarding the hinges and space for electronics and air system so in this instance we discarded it, but it could serve us later to rescue ideas.
Luego de la gran crisis que tuvimos junto a mi grupo en la ultima entrega, nos pusimos las pilas y comenzamos a generar ideas hasta encontrar una que nos pareciera útil. Estábamos entre dos opciones muy viables, pero terminamos decantándonos con una para avanzar, por un lado, habíamos encontrado un producto que era una deshidratadora que cuenta con un sistema de tapas plásticas que se pliegan sobre si y se transforma en maletín, nos pareció excelente, pero estábamos en dudas con respecto a las bisagras y el espacio para la electrónica y sistema de aire así que en esta instancia la descartamos, pero podría servirnos más adelante para rescatar ideas.
But we were on the other hand, an idea that fascinated us and we believe that can be the solution to all our problems, the partner who made the cardboard model began to create sketches by hand to reach the following idea that you will see in the picture What are we seeing here? The idea would be to make a hybrid housing, sectors that have sheet metal and the red corners that come would be in thermo folded plastic, This would help us to reduce the weight of the sheet added to this in the internal part there would be a folded sheet metal chassis cut with laser that piece looks extremely complex both to model and to materialize but it would fulfill several functions on the one hand it would serve as internal structure to link the pieces of the case and to contain several of the components such as the source, the air extraction system, fans, filters among some other things.
Pero fuimos por otro lado, una idea que nos fascino y creemos que pueden ser la solución a todos nuestros problemas, el compañero que hizo la maqueta de cartón comenzó a crear bocetos a mano hasta llegar a la siguiente idea que verán en la imagen ¿Qué estamos viendo acá? La idea seria hacer una carcasa hibrida, sectores que tengan chapa y las esquinas rojas que ven serian en plástico termo doblado, esto nos ayudaría a reducir el peso de la chapa sumado a esto en la parte interna habría un chasis plegado de chapa cortado con laser esa pieza se ve compleja en extremo tanto de modelar como de materializar pero cumpliría varias funciones por un lado serviría como estructura interna para vincular las piezas de la carcasa y para contener varios de los componentes como por ejemplo la fuente, el sistema de extracción de aire, ventiladores, filtros entre algunas otras cosas.

For the closing system three plates were devised that would go on the sides and the back, these would be linked by means of a socket and when it was time to store them they would be removed and stored inside the painting workspace to close everything and make it look like a briefcase. There are still things to be seen such as how will we make the drying system, how will the air extraction system work and what parts will I have? But everything we have done is a great achievement and progress so those are things we will keep in mind later.
Para el sistema de cierre se idearon tres placas que irían en sus laterales y la parte trasera estos se vincularían por medio de encastre y a la hora de guardarlos se retirarían y se guardarían dentro del espacio de trabajo de pintura para cerrar todo y que quede como un maletín. Todavía quedan cosas por ver como por ejemplo ¿Cómo realizaremos el sistema de secado? ¿Cómo funcionara y que piezas tendré el sistema de extracción de aire? Pero todo lo que hemos hecho es un gran logro y avance así que esas son cosas que iremos teniendo en cuenta más adelante.
Then together with my partner Inés who knows programming we started to see what things we need the programming to do and I put together a small idea as a first approach. I thought of a first screen where we would see three icons, Drying mode (For the drying system), spin system (To enable the base motor spin) and a fan to turn on or off the air extraction system. The screen will also have a thumbwheel that will rotate left or right and will also serve as a button to confirm the selected function.
Después junto con mi compañera Inés que sabe programación empezamos a ver que cosas necesitamos que hiciera la programación y arme una pequeña idea como un primer acercamiento. Pensé en una primera pantalla donde veríamos tres iconos, Modo secado (Para el sistema de secado), sistema de giro (Para habilitar el giro del motor de la base) y un ventilador para encender o apagar el sistema de extracción de aire. La pantalla también contará con una rueda selectora que girará a la izquierda o derecha sumado a que también servirá como un botón para confirmar la función seleccionada.
We put together a small list of requirements for the functionality, also a small sequence of use of the product in general so that nothing is overlooked, we could not leave anything as a no-brainer since having all this information dumped and clear was very useful. So with this first approach to the programming part my colleague could get to work with the idea.
Armamos una pequeña lista de requisitos para la funcionalidad, también una pequeña secuencia de uso del producto en general para que no se nos pase nada por alto no podíamos dejar nada como una obviedad ya que tener toda esta información volcada y clara era muy útil. Así que con este primer acercamiento a la parte de programación mi compañera ya pudo ponerse a trabajar con la idea.
That's all for today, if I'm not mistaken for this instance we have already spent about $30mil or $36mil Argentine pesos, we will continue to move forward with the ideas and we will present them to the teachers to see what they think, but I am very optimistic.
