Creation of @minigunner and @artakush

Welcome back to explore with me, and through gastronomy, the great occasion we had a month ago inaugurating the very first #BuzzParty. An incredible initiative brought to us by @tibfox with which he has started a relaxed and very warm way to bring together several Hivers, this time, in Europe.
In the >> previous post << we could see all those delicious things that our host organized for the afternoon speeches about the Hive ecosystem on 04/20, however he was not the only one who cared about food in that meeting, there was a project that knew how to use his personal brand to successfully bring us closer to his philosophy, making us feel welcome in their home through a plate of Cold Beetroot Soup, so that we could gladly enter their world.
Obviously, I am referring to the @coldbeetrootsoup team that despite not being able to attend in its entirety, had an excellent representation at the event and an imposing presence, which made us all think about how important it is wanting to do things right in Hive.
I find it interesting to highlight from the beginning, the human value of @minigunner and @artakush . Being the first time I attended a meet up within the community, I quickly perceived the commitment they transmitted, not only with their project, but with the activities we all attended as participants. They seemed to be in everything, at every moment, lending a hand to the organizer and being part of the interaction between all attendees.
I think it's very important to have people skills at events like this and these guys have it. I think they kept even the shyest attendees entertained without having to interact directly with them, plus they were relaxed at all times, something that made us very surprised when, a little later, they started their serious presentation.
We spent a very fun morning, walking around the city and enjoying a boat tour on the Elbe river, which gave us >> beautiful postcards << and the chance to easily start talking to each other, even though most of us were strangers.
Then we arrived in a very bohemian neighborhood, where the main location of the event was waiting for us, where the speeches we were all waiting for would take place, to update us on the projects that some of the attendees carry out and collaborate with.
The place set up for us was prepared with some elements that made us feel very comfortable, @tibfox made lovely designs for the posters for that day, which made me want to frame them and have them hanging as a souvenir. Hopefully someday there will be a #HiveMuseum where they can be displayed.
Bienvenidos nuevamente a recorrer a mi lado,y a través de la gastronomía, la gran oportunidad que tuvimos hace un mes de inaugurar la primera #BuzzParty. Una iniciativa increíble que trajo a nosotros @tibfox con la que ha dado inicio a una desenfadada y muy cálida forma de reunirnos a varios Hivers, en esta oportunidad, dentro de Europa.
En el >> post anterior << pudimos ver todas esas cosas deliciosas que nuestro anfitrión organizó para la tarde de charlas sobre el ecosistema de Hive del día 20/04, sin embargo no fue el único que se preocupó por la comida en esa reunión, hubo un proyecto que supo utilizar su marca personal para acercarnos con con mucho éxito a su filosofía, haciéndonos sentir acogidos en su hogar a través de un plato de Cold Beetroot Soup, para que gustosamente nos adentráramos en su mundo.
Por supuesto, me refiero al equipo de @coldbeetrootsoup que a pesar de no poder haber asistido en su totalidad, tuvo una excelente representación en el evento y una imponente presencia, que nos hizo a todos pensar en lo importante que es querer hacer las cosas bien en Hive.
Me parece interesante destacar desde el principio, el valor humano de @minigunner y @artakush . Siendo la primera vez que yo asistía a un meet up dentro de la comunidad, percibí rápidamente el compromiso que transmitían, no solo con su proyecto, sino con la actividad a la que todos acudimos como participantes. Parecían estar en todo, a cada momento, tendiéndole una mano al organizador y siendo partícipes de la interacción entre todos los asistentes.
A mí me parece muy importante el tener don de gentes en eventos así y estos chicos lo tienen. Creo que mantenían entretenidos hasta a los más tímidos asistentes sin tener que interactuar directamente con ellos, ademas que se mostraban relajados en todo momento, algo que al final hizo que nos sorprendiéramos mucho cuando, un poco más tarde, dieron inicio a su ponencia.
Pasamos una mañana muy divertida, paseando la ciudad y disfrutando de un tour en barco sobre el río Elba, que nos regaló >> hermosas postales << y nos dio la oportunidad de comenzar fácilmente a hablar entre nosotros, a pesar de que gran parte éramos desconocidos.
Luego llegamos a un barrio muy bohemio, en donde nos esperaba la localización principal del evento, en ella tendría lugar la tarde de charlas que todos estábamos esperando, para actualizarnos sobre los proyectos que algunos de los asistentes llevan a acabo y con los que colaboran.
El local dispuesto para nosotros estaba decorado con algunos elementos que nos hicieron sentir muy a gusto, @tibfox elaboró preciosos diseños para los carteles de ese día, que provocaba enmarcar y tener colgados de recuerdo. Ojalá algún día halla un #HiveMuseum en donde puedan ser exhibidos.

I personally have a lot of things to talk about what the presentation of @coldbeetrootsoup taught me that day, but first of all, let me tell you a little about this curious soup, which until this moment I didn't know about.
In their CBRD Community they explain a little bit why the project has got this name and, in addition, they reveal the ingredients of the dish, although if we check a little more we can find a blog where the process of preparation of this famous Lithuanian soup is detailed. I share here their >>recipe << in case someone wants to replicate it.
According to this, the cold soup we were offered that day had beet as the main ingredient, accompanied by cucumber, dill, spring onion and kefir.
And it turns out that these guys went to great lengths to show us a little piece of themselves, they had a long trip to Hamburg and yet they came straight to prepare this very special soup to bring to the event. They have made a funny video telling us their story and you can see part of the preparation process of the dish, so it's proven, it was home made artisanally. x'D
At first I was a little wary because I don't like broths, but this was something different and with many ingredients that I like. That day I didn't know it had kefir in it, something I love and it was fun to discover. Then the color was beautiful thanks to the beet, which brings back very good memories of rich meals in my childhood.
Despite the curiosity, we had to wait a bit because there was no ladle to serve the soup, but it was something that could be solved and allowed us to taste it between the breaks in each speech.
I don't know exactly if it should be eaten in a particular way, but I thought it went very well with bread and since we had an interesting variety available that day, we took advantage of it very well.
It turned out to be something very different from a soup, much better than a soup in fact. Actually I think the best definition of the taste was what @elmirabear told me “it tastes like a salad”, that's exactly what it is, a little brothy salad haha.
Refreshing, light and healthy!
Yo personalmente tengo muchas cosas que hablar al respecto de lo que me transmitió la ponencia de @coldbeetrootsoup ese día, pero antes de todo, déjenme contarles un poco de qué va esto de la curiosa sopa, que hasta ahora yo desconocía.
Dentro de su Comunidad CBRD explican un poco el motivo de porqué el proyecto lleva ese nombre y, además, nos desvelan los ingredientes del plato, aunque si revisamos un poco más podemos encontrarnos con un blog en donde detallan el proceso de preparación de esta famosa sopa lituana. Dejo por aquí su >>receta << por si alguien quiere replicarla.
Según esto, la sopa fría que nos ofrecieron ese día llevaba remolacha como ingrediente principal, acompañada de pepino, eneldo, cebolleta y kéfir.
Y resulta que estos chicos se esmeraron mucho en mostrarnos un pedacito de si, tuvieron un largo viaje hasta Hamburg y sin embargo llegaron directo a preparar esta sopa tan especial para llevarla al evento. Han hecho un divertido vídeo contándonos su historia y se puede ver parte del proceso de preparación del plato, así que está comprobado, era comida hogareña y hecha artesanalmente. x'D
Al principio estaba un poco desconfiada porque no me gustan los caldos, pero esto era algo diferente y con muchos ingredientes que me gustan. Ese día no sabía que llevaba kéfir, algo que me encanta y que fue divertido descubrir. Luego el color era precioso gracias a la remolacha, que me trae muy buenos recuerdos de ricas comidas en mi infancia.
A pesar de la curiosidad, tuvimos que esperar un poco porque no había en el local un cucharón para servir la sopa, pero fue algo que se pudo solucionar y nos permitió probarla entre los descansos que hubo entre discurso y discurso.
No se exactamente si debe comerse de una forma particular, pero me precio que le iba muy bien acompañarla con pan y ya que teníamos una interesante variedad a disposición ese día, lo aprovechamos muy bien.
Resultó ser algo muy distinto a una sopa, muchísimo mejor que una sopa en realidad. De hecho creo que la mejor definición del sabor fue lo que me dijo @elmirabear “sabe a ensalada”, eso exactamente es, una ensaladita caldosa jaja.

Cold beet soup, the team
CBRS is a team that develops diverse projects inside and outside the Hive blockchain. They invest a lot of time and resources in projects that allow them to add value to the ecosystem, getting involved in gaming, quality onboarding and social projects.
These guys are like characters from the movie Everything, Everywhere, All at Once. Curious, funny but most of all, deeply sensitive and committed to their community.
People who, being in principle ordinary, they perform like heroes in our complex world, to selflessly help others, doing the impossible to overcome cultural and economic differences that never end up popping up.
And that's when @cbrsphilanthropy comes along, one of the projects of this team, which stands in solidarity with vulnerable environments and helps them to obtain the means to become self-sustainable over time, through the many benefits of Blockchain technology.
The first project they are working on is in Venezuela, where they work hand in hand with @nahupuku who has been the extension of CBRS to be able to work in such a complicated environment. It is a very nice and functional project that can be followed in detail in their >>report updates<<
I want to extend my congratulations to everyone involved for the hard work you are doing and I hope it will be a great success. Surely this is just the beginning of many other social projects that will also inspire many others of us to do similar things.

As a Venezuelan who lived firsthand how complicated it can be to intervene to improve anything over there, I really admire the work they are doing and I understand the weight of the challenge they have set for themselves. My most sincere respects guys, hats off!
CBRS es un equipo que desarrolla diversos proyectos dentro y fuera de la blockchain de Hive. Invierten mucho tiempo y recursos en proyectos que permitan sumar calidad al ecosistema, involucrándose en juegos, onboarding de calidad y proyectos sociales.
Estos chicos son como personajes de la película Everything, Everywhere, All at Once. Curiosos, divertidos pero sobre todo, profundamente sensibles y comprometidos con su entorno.
Personas que, siendo en principio corrientes, se desenvuelven como héroes dentro de nuestro complejo mundo, para ayudar desinteresadamente a otros, haciendo lo imposible por traspasar las diferencias culturales y económicas que nunca terminan de aparecer.
Y es allí cuando entra en juego @cbrsphilanthropy uno de los proyectos de este equipo, que se solidariza con entornos vulnerables y les ayuda a obtener los medios para que puedan volverse autosustentables con el tiempo, a través de los muchos beneficios de la tecnología Blockchain.
El primer proyecto en el que están trabajando se desarrolla en Venezuela, donde trabajan de la mano con @nahupuku quien ha sido la extensión de CBRS para poder trabajar en un entorno tan complicado. Es un proyecto muy bonito y funcional que se puede seguir al detalle en sus >>reportes de actualizaciones<<
Quiero extender mis felicitaciones a todo los involucrados por el arduo trabajo que están realizando y ademas, espero que tenga el mayor de los éxitos. Seguramente sea solo el inicio de muchas otros proyectos sociales que también inspiren a muchos otros de nosotros a hacer cosas parecidas.

Yo, como venezolana, que viví de primera mano lo complicado que puede ser intervenir para mejorar cualquier cosa en el país, admiro mucho el trabajo que están haciendo y comprendo el peso del reto que se han planteado. Mis más sinceros respetos chicos.
It was definitely a presentation that surprised us a lot, especially me, because I had no idea at all. I also did not expect the seriousness with which they presented their projects, nor the level of commitment so evident that motivates them to move forward despite the adversities.
It is inspiring to see how someone is able to put themselves in the place of others and decide to do something about it, not remain an eternal observer. The idea of decentralization and community can come out of the virtual world, it can be a tangible reflection in our day to day lives, and people like @coldbeetrootsoup are doing it on their own, just as we all should.
Witnessing this speech has continually made me reflect on it since that day. It has pulled at some very personal heartstrings and has also made me very happy. If it is in my hands to be able to contribute any help, do not hesitate to let me know, I think all should know this initiative, we have to keep talking about the good things that can be done and continue to support anyone who is willing to try.
The only thing that hasn't been clear to me, is how this soup could have yielded so much among 30 people. Surprising to see what was still left at the end of the day - would it have been @tibfox's food for this whole month? 🤣

Definitivamente fue una ponencia que nos sorprendió mucho, a mí sobre todo, porque no tenía ni idea, en absoluto. Tampoco me esperaba la seriedad con la que nos presentaron sus proyectos, ni el nivel de compromiso tan evidente que les motiva a seguir adelante a pesar de las adversidades.
Resulta inspirador ver como alguien es capaz de ponerse en lugar de otros y decidir hacer algo al respecto, no permanecer como un eterno observador. La idea de descentralización y comunidad puede salir del mundo virtual, puede ser un reflejo tangible en nuestro día a día, y gente como @coldbeetrootsoup lo están haciendo por su propia cuenta, tal como deberíamos hacer todos.
Haber presenciado esta charla me ha hecho reflexionar continuamente desde ese día. Ha llegado a tocar algunas fibras muy personales y también me ha alegrado mucho. Si está en ms manos poder aportar alguna ayuda, no duden en decírmelo, creo que esta iniciativa debe ser conocida por todos, tenemos que seguir hablando de las cosas buenas que se pueden hacer y continuar apoyando a todo el que esté dispuesto a intentarlo.
La única cosa que no me ha quedado clara, es como esta sopa pudo haber rendido tanto entre 30 personas. Sorprendente ver lo que aún quedaba al final del día. ¿Habrá sido el alimento de @tibfox durante todo este mes? JAJAJA
