Everyone has their challenges and I guess, that in general, we are defined by them - either from what we overcome or, what overcomes us.
From there the title of today's post was born and I immediately began to take stock of this year of those situations that I have overcome and those that have overcome me and if you think about it, losing a battle does not make you lose the war, how many stumbles are presented in the daily journey through life today I woke up with a plan to execute and what do you think my sister wrote me to take a meat from the freezer, it weighed about 20 kilos, I made a bad move that does not even let me breathe, definitely carrying that weight overcame me now I have a strong pain in my back.
We always think that success is measured by everything we have achieved so every year at this time we set goals and objectives I do it too this does not mean that they are achieved but it keeps us motivated and excited this is very positive but what happens when you try hard and no matter how hard you try the situation overcomes you? It's frustrating isn't it? We always think that successful people can overcome everything and it is not so simply their challenges are different everyone has their own external or internal battles to fight there is no need to compare yourself with anyone.
After the Pandemic many things changed my job is no longer the same even though I have not been fired because I am a public employee my income has been reduced and this has taken me out of control in every way, it is complicated to overcome the daily economic changes in a country with hyperinflation is exhausting, another difficult situation to overcome is the loss of one of my mother's eyes every time I talk to her I feel that maybe I could have avoided it, this worsened her health and for some reason she did not overcome it I think that here the emotions overcome me now when I can overcome this situation?
After I got thrombosis in my legs my health is affected I can't walk much my feet swell and the pain is very strong many times I think we are our worst enemies we demand more than we can give what I am learning is to live one day at a time and the situations that overcome me just let them pass each day brings its own eagerness, I just wish my economy improves to pay for my daughter's college which is what worries me most but something has to occur to me.
We must learn to live with the situations that cannot be overcome and rejoice for those that can be, we must live one day at a time. I wish you a year full of success and blessings.
