As they say, train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it. This bible verse has been one example we can alway refer to on raising kids. Children come into the world innocent, but what they see , experience and come into contact with everyday shape them into who they become.

What you say to the people around you and how you interact with them is most likely the same way your kid would interact with others when he goes into the outside world. If you’re a parent who likes to use profane language, best be sure that your kid would follow your footsteps. This isn’t rocket science, this is just human nature. Some people unfortunately happen to be victims of their circumstances. Not everyone gets to grow up in the right conditions which would shape them to be better people.
These kinds of people might engage in bad acts thinking they are doing the right thing because that’s what they are used to and their brains have been conditioned to. I child who grew up seeing his parents smoke would most likely also start smoking when he grows up. But then, can people really change? In my point of view, I’d say anyone can change given the circumstances. We’ve seen good people turn bad over night and vice versa.
We all aren’t the same people we were years ago. We all strive for growth in one way or the other which is normal. I don’t think anyone would want to change for the worst but the other way round , it’s a possibility . Having a positive mindset is the start to changing who you are. I’ve seen people take accountability for their actions and take the steps to be better people. Through consistency, they have been able to work on themselves and are living a better life and being living testimonies to others.
No one is above or below change. Change comes from with in and I believe if one truly wants to change, he will.
