The new Legendary AirDrop card, Oshuur Constantia is a Monster from the Dragon Splinter. It is 7 mana in order to be used which is interesting as many of the new set are larger mana cards or giants. I imagine it will be unique given the Splinter and abilities it provides. Having a tank heal for Dragon will prove useful as the Kitty will soon fall out of rotation in Modern. In addition, the new reflection shield ability also helps combat some of the well know blast metas. Resurrect will be a first within Dragon but also allows for combos with other Splinters. It will definitely add some alternatives to the meta.
My 2,800 packs got me a jackpot which I hope will help in the future as these cards will not be available in future packs. While I used to rent them in single BCX, I have started to combine some as the demand for higher level cards has started to be seen after the latest reward changes. I also got the minimum guaranteed Gold Foils which is fine as they could be handy in the future. For this set, I will be good with many of the AirDrops given the amount I purchased. I will not need to go out into the market for BCX to max out my playable copy until the last two AirDrops in most likelihood. I wish it was like that for all AirDrops!
The Riftwatchers AirDrops have now started so exciting for the community. It may be a while to see the next one but incredible to see the value being built for all the players in the ecosystem. My Collection has continued to bloom despite the declines in value seen in the past months. I cannot avoid getting deeper into this and while I am already well past my budget of packs, I am sure there will continue to be reasons to add for the chance for more AirDrops even as they slow.
