It was a bit cooler over night which led to a good nights sleep. I started thinking I might be on for a quicker time until I started to warm up and instantly felt the ache of a big day of work yesterday in my heavy legs . It did not take long before it got stinking hot as well. Overall 25 and a half minutes was ok for this multi terain 5 kilometre course with a small hill you end up going over twice. The lota event atttracted over 100 people today which is quite busy for them. It was started to try and reduce the numbers at the nearby Wynumn parkrun but given a choice most people still opt for the conrete pathed dead flat parkrun just up the road.
