Yesterday's parkrun at Stones Corner with a few friends.
We were up early for the drive in.
The parkruns near the middle of town are getting really busy. This one had 588 runners and walkers. It is really important to start near the front if you're trying to run under 25 minutes.
I suppose it is because of all these new high rise accommodation going in.
We got there early so I could do a bit of a warm up.
The run brief.
The course is an out and back bike path along a creek.
I worked pretty hard the whole way but was only just under 25 minutes.
It was a fairly flat course with a couple of narrow bridges to cross.
My third time on this course.
I am looking forward to doing it again and hopefully getting closer to my course PB.
Plenty of nearby coffee options afterwards!
