Introduction
Definitely not Ozempic 😅. Not just because of the side effects but because you want to build something that lasts. And you want to build a healthy body, not just lose weight.
Going the Ozempic route doesn't teach you discipline, or all the things the process I'm about to describe would teach you. Also you have to be on Ozempic probably forever or else when you let off you'll gain some or much of the weight back, you'll get your appetite back and might start eating with a vengeance.
Then Ozempic doesn't only make you lose fat but muscles too, and you need muscles for a healthy body.
Then again, Ozempic mainly works by suppressing your appetite, you just wouldn't feel like eating like you used to, and for many people that would be hell. I like the idea of all the money it would save me, but an inability to crave and enjoy food like I do currently would make me feel like life is no longer worth living.
I'm something of a foodie and for me being in shape is not worth my current enjoyment and regular anticipation of a good meal. So, never Ozempic. And I think a lot of people are with me on this.
What I'll Do
First of all, all natural.
I'll start lifting weights with the goal of building muscles. Lifting like a bodybuilder. All the muscles or almost all the muscles ony body.
Because I'm a man that's a lot of muscles I'm free to build. I can build everything above my legs and build my legs too. For women I usually advice very minimal upper body exercises because you don't want to have upper body muscles and ruin your feminine physique. But you can build your legs and ass as much as you want, that would always be fine.
But if a woman doesn't care about ruining her feminine physique or if her man doesn't mind then there's no problem at all, she can build away.
So, in addition to that I'll be eating as much as I want. But mainly protein and unprocessed food. And I'll be getting as much rest as possible. I'll be on creatine too, plus other good supplements to help build testosterone and quick recovery from all the exercises I'll be doing.
I'll keep going like this for at least a year. After a year I should have built lot of muscles underneath that fat. I'm supposed to have also lost a lot of fat and become mostly just muscle, getting in really great shape. But this is not certain. It's possible I'll still be looking fat even with all the muscles.
This wouldn't be a problem, though, because the certain thing is that I'll have developed a lot of muscles. Then I'll execute the next phase.
I'll start doing mostly fasting, cardio, and more protein and as little processed food as possible, because before I wasn't that strict. I'll simply increase the strictness now and increase the cardio.
The reasoning is that now I have more muscles and testosterone. Muscles and testosterone makes you burn more fat and more of the stuff that makes you fat. Fasting/dieting and cardio is usually what people resort to at first when they want to lose weight, but when you have muscles and testosterone it makes it work faster, you understand? Because now your body can burn more fat and the stuff that makes you fat.
Then again, bodybuilding for a year should have toughened the crap out of you and you'll be more capable of going through the pain of fasting and dieting and cardio unlike if you just started fasting and dieting and cardio when you're a 400lbs overweight lazy soft person.
Starting bodybuilding as that person, though, is easier because you don't have to also include the pains of fasting, missing some of your favourite meals due to dieting, and the pains of cardio.
Some other else bodybuilding approach I'll do is
I'll have very little rest time between sets. One minute rest time. This helps to improve heart health. Being 400lbs and trying to put on muscles might make you have even more weight because of the muscles you'll be adding on ontop of your current weight. (You might be losing fat and gaining only muscles, but that's not certain like I said before).
So due to this possibility of increased weight you'll be putting a lot of strain on your heart. The heavier you are the more difficult it is for your heart to pump blood all around your body. So, this approach would help you make your heart stronger. Also 400lbs is already a lot of weight, you need a stronger heart as quickly as possible to help you carry it further.
At the End
So after the first year of musclebuilding, another year of dieting, cardio, and fasting should be enough to bring my weight down to the 200s at most.
That second year would still include musclebuilding, mind you, but mainly for maintenance, so that I'll still have the muscles that would help me keep losing fat at a higher pace.
If I keep at that for 2 years, I'll definitely become perfect, except for probably saggy skin. I wouldn't just be someone who lost weight, I'll now be the muscular hot dude. Plus I would have learnt a lot of discipline and great fitness habits doing all of those.
You don't get all of these with Ozempic.
What if You Don't Have 3 Years?
I used 3 years because of course it's always more fun and easier to take it easy rather than to be in so much of a hurry and try to do it in a matter of months. Plus 3 years makes it not to be hard on your body, and not to be a lot of changes all of a sudden.
But if you have only a couple of months, there's hardly a healthy natural way to do it, you can only try. But failure is almost certain. Except you'll all of a sudden become one of the most disciplined people to have ever lived. But even if you did all you could, it takes time to shed off all that weight, plus being too hard on your body usually leads to a breakdown.
3 or 2 is also not so long when you think about the fact that you know some overweight people who have been trying to lose weight with dieting, fasting, and exercises for over 10 years but they haven't been able to make progress. That lack of progress is usually because of a lack of a good strategy like mine and wanting to achieve it in a short time.
So, there you have it.
Disclaimer:
I'm not a health professional, just a bodybuilding enthusiast who has been in the game for about 14 years now, mostly on and off. Discuss everything I've said here with your doctor before doing them, I would not be liable for any damage following my personal guide would bring you.
