Today I return to one of the old Zingtober drawings. I came back to this drawing because I really like it a lot. The prompt that day was "Ragged," and I decided once and for all to give it color today. In the drawing, I made Glimmo as if he were a stuffed toy that is full of seams and patches. Also, the stuffing is coming out of his knee. I really liked this drawing in inks, and I really liked the cross-hatching, so I didn't remove it.
Hoy regreso a uno de los dibujos antiguos del Zingtober. Regres茅 a este dibujo porque en verdad me gusta mucho. El prompt de aquel d铆a era "Ragged" y decid铆 de una vez y por todas hoy darle color. En el dibujo hice a Glimmo como si fuera un mu帽eco de felpa que est谩 lleno de costuras y parches. Adem谩s, se le sale el relleno en la rodilla. Este dibujo me gust贸 mucho en tintas y me gust贸 mucho el achurado, as铆 que no lo quit茅.
This was the original ink drawing, so I will remove the text and clean up some details. I don't want to leave it spotless because I think part of the charm and of the prompt are the errors in the drawing.
Este fue el dibujo original en tinta, as铆 que quitar茅 el texto y limpiar茅 algunos detalles. No quiero dejarlo impoluto porque creo que parte del encanto y del prompt son los errores en el dibujo.
I really like that Glimmo's color is orange, so let's keep that. I will add some green patches to contrast with the orange. I also added some lighting.
Me gusta mucho que el color de Glimmo sea naranja, as铆 que mantengamos esto. Agregar茅 algunos parches de color verde para que contraste con el naranja. Tambi茅n agregu茅 algunas iluminaciones.
I made the pink details on the cheek, the green eye button, and the white thread.
Hice los detalles rosa de la mejilla, el bot贸n del ojo verde y el hilo de color blanco.
The little belly in green and the sewn heart in red.
La pancita de color verde y el coraz贸n cosido de color rojo.
For the shell, I'll give it a very dark brown color, and with that I'm done. Only a simple background remains, and that's it. I'll make the grass green, and behind it, white clouds on a blue sky. Some little stars, and done. I hope you liked this ragged and sewn stuffed Glimmo.
Para el caparaz贸n le dar茅 un color caf茅 bien oscuro, y con esto termino. Solo queda agregar un fondo simple y listo. Har茅 el c茅sped verde y detr谩s unas nubes blancas sobre un cielo azul. Algunas peque帽as estrellitas, y listo. Espero que les haya gustado este harapiento y cosido Glimmo de felpa.
