It's been a few months since everything came to light. In the music world, nothing quite like what happened with Justin and JKFRO has ever been seen. JKFRO is a very successful band, known worldwide for its high-quality musicianship. Justin was their lead guitarist and one of the longest-standing members. A few months ago, a problem between them was revealed, and now we better understand why they broke up and the subsequent consequences. To better understand what happened, we must look back to the very beginning of their problems.
The band formed when they were teenagers, eager to succeed and dominate every stage they could find. They met through social media. They shared their interests and aspirations. They had many things in common, so they concluded that they should join forces to make their dreams a reality. And so it happened. They got together and started playing. The beginning was tough, and it took them a while to gain recognition. Their songs weren't widely heard either.
Because they were united and the group was highly motivated, they were able to easily overcome those initial adversities. Nothing could stop them in their desire to create the best music. They kept fighting, improving, releasing new songs every day, and gradually conquering stages. It was a somewhat slow progress, yes, but overwhelming, and that was what mattered. Things were about to change very soon.

Justin had a brilliant idea for a song, and when he presented it to the band, they were thrilled. They all pitched in to bring it to fruition. When it was finished and they performed it for the first time, the band's fame skyrocketed; the song became incredibly popular. And for the first time in their history, JKFRO was everywhere. Everyone was listening to them, and people started taking a greater interest in the band. The idea for the song was Justin's, but without the band, it wouldn't have been possible to bring it to fruition.
What happened was that something began to change within him after that hit song. He started taking on responsibilities within the group that weren't his. From that day forward, he wanted to control the creative direction of everything they did, and on social media, he glorified himself, claiming to be the creator, instead of speaking for the whole band. This created the first friction among them. They were able to tolerate it because, in the end, he hadn't done anything against the group; he was simply asserting his authority. A short time later, he came up with another idea for the band. And that song was also very good.
But after that, things took a dark turn. Justin desperately wanted control of the band and more of the group's money because he took credit for their recent success. He wasn't content with working solely for the good of the group. Ultimately, the friction between them became so great that they couldn't continue working together. But JKFRO didn't fire him; it was Justin who quit, saying he wasn't going to give up his talent for nothing and that he was going to form another band.

After his departure, seeing that the band was successful without him, he decided to get revenge. He knew they wanted to hire another guitarist. So he moved quickly and contacted someone he knew who was good enough to apply. And it worked; that guitarist became his replacement. It was a trap. Justin was going to pay that guitarist to destroy the band from within; he had to sabotage everything he could. Because if Justin wasn't in it, the band couldn't exist. The infiltrated guitarist did everything he was asked. He erased the recordings they had of the songs and even leaked their work. The goal was to destroy it at any cost. Even so, the band kept fighting and stayed united.
The great working environment made the guitarist reconsider things. He had something good there, and he was destroying it for a little money, all because of the prideful Justin. His conscience wouldn't let him continue, especially since he was jeopardizing his musical future. He met with the group and told them the truth, along with his sincere apologies. He also returned the money they had paid him and the money Justin had given him. He just wanted a second chance to prove that he wasn't like that.
Seeing his sincere apology and everything he had done to reconcile and tell the truth, JKFRO forgave him. But he would have to pass some tests before being fully accepted. For example, he had to testify in the legal proceedings to sue Justin for serious damages. And he did. The trial ended with Justin in jail and facing a huge fine for damages. Those were the consequences. For the guitarist, there were no major consequences because the band protected him for telling the truth. They decided to give him a second chance, because that, too, is justice. Be that as it may, this will be remembered as the greatest betrayal of a band by one of its members.
