By fate, luck, or chance, Flash was born in a country that was highly repressive regarding one thing in particular: music. In this country, music was prohibited for several reasons, including its status as a form of free expression. Therefore, it was persecuted, and no one was allowed to sing, whether professionally or even casually. Singing in public was considered insurrection and a form of protest, resulting in all kinds of punishments, including imprisonment.
For this reason, there were no parties with music or street musicians, as one might see in other countries. Only a select few were allowed to make music; they were chosen. These individuals had to assure the authorities that the sole purpose of their music was to entertain the people and not to profit from it. And if, for any reason, they became famous in the country for their music, they had to stop performing and accept retirement to avoid attracting attention.
Into this bleak landscape was born Flash. He was a very special child because he was born with musical talent running through his veins, and this would sooner or later become a major problem for him. As he grew up, he learned to sing online. He saw on social media how great singers from abroad were building successful careers and achieving their dreams, but despite his talent, he couldn't achieve anything due to his circumstances. He felt a great envy of being able to do the same, but there was nothing he could do at that time.

At home, he would sing with the doors and windows closed; it was the only place where he could truly sing. He would let it all out by singing at the top of his lungs. His parents told him to sing more quietly because someone might hear him and get them all in trouble. This upset him greatly because even at home he couldn't sing with all the power he felt inside. He could sing, but softly, and without any emotion. He spent his entire youth and part of his adulthood like this: shut away, yearning, longing for something unattainable.
Upon reaching adulthood, he understood that he couldn't live like this forever. He couldn't simply die without having done anything to achieve what he loved. He couldn't imagine disappearing, letting others decide what he should love and do. For this reason, he devised a plan to leave the country. But carrying out this plan would be very expensive. It involved leaving the country and moving to a less restrictive place. The problem was that he needed a lot of money to buy plane tickets.

That's why he would have to keep waiting, remaining silent, not letting his inner self, his music, out. He had to save for several years, often forgoing basic necessities, so that one day he could have what now lacked life. Every sacrifice, every hour of work, would be worth it, because although it took time, he was finally able to buy a plane ticket and leave the country.
When he left the country and arrived in his new one, he immediately began preparing to sing. Within days, he had started, first as a street musician, then as a musician in bars and entertainment venues, and finally as a professional singer. It was a long and very sad road to get here, but he made it. He deeply regrets that in his home country, it's still not possible to be a singer. He hopes that one day things will change and others will also be able to fulfill their dreams, while he sings for himself and for those who cannot.
