Today we will announce the winners of the NeedleWork Your PET contest 鉂わ笍.
Thank you all so much for joining this contest and sharing with us beautiful creations for your pets. It was very entertaining to see and read the little ones in our homes being pampered with a needlework project made with love. They were all incredible 馃槂.
This was the first time we did a contest like this and we were very happy with the good reception from the community. We hope you also had a good time making these gifts for your pets 鉂わ笍.
We had a total of 21 entries!
Criteria for the selection of winners
For this contest we chose three big winners: one chosen by the Needle Work Monday team led by @crosheille, @kattycrochet and @lauramica, another winner chosen by our friends from the Hive Pets community team, @macchiata and @josecarrerag, and finally a third winner chosen by the Hive community who participated in voting for their favorite project. In addition, we chose several special mentions to recognize the good work you did and thank you for participating in this contest 鉂わ笍.
As in all NeedleWorkMonday challenges, we relied on certain criteria to help us narrow down the final winners, including:
Final presentation
Techniques and materials used
Story/inspiration behind the project
Originality
Creativity and level of complexity/difficulty;
In addition to compliance with the contest rules and commitment to support other participants.
It was a very difficult task but finally here are all the winners:

With her participation in this contest, our friend @marlynmont managed to capture all her effort, dedication and love in making these cute costumes for her two cats Negro and Tesoro. She was involved in all the details and both kitties looked very adorable in their Christmas outfits. Congratulations!
With this beautiful bed for her kitten Math铆as, @emybaby managed to be the winner chosen by the Hive Pets team. The curators' opinion was that she has created something useful for her pet and also helpful for others in case they wanted to create a bed for their fur babies. Well done 鉂わ笍!
With the beautiful crochet hat that @irenenavarroart prepared for her cat Linda, she was the favorite chosen by the Hive community. In an open vote, 11 people chose her project and that is why she obtains this recognition thanks to the community. Congrats!
鉂わ笍 Community Favorites 鉂わ笍
To contribute to the prizes awarded thanks to this contest, we received a pool of 5 HIVES from our friends in the Hive Pets community, 4 HBD courtesy of @crosheille and 2 HBD from @lauramica. With this extra amount we decided to give special recognition to the tie for second place in the community vote. These projects were also the favorites of Hive members and that is why they deserve a special highlight 馃槂.
