Description

At first I was really confused with the amount of power I was producing at low effort with fresh legs and it was struggling to keep the power below 180 watts, my aim was 155 - 165 watts to make it a zone 2 ride but then after maybe 40 minutes, I thought maybe it will be different when I shift to the small gear on my front derailleur, I never used it before 😅.
Immediately, it felt more natural and with a normal cadence I was much better able to stay around my target power.

The second hour still felt like some serious effort so I think on my rides before, my power was only high in the first hour and much lower later in the ride, real targeted training starts now 🙂
