Weekends don’t need to be loud to feel good. My Saturday was all about the small resets that bring peace back.
I started with the basics - broom in hand, packer ready. Sweeping out the old dust, old stress. There’s something satisfying about seeing your floor go from messy to spotless in 10 minutes.
Then it was me-time. Stood under the tap, let the water run through my hands. Grabbed my bath glove and scrubbed every bit of the week off my skin. Simple soap, but the freshness lasted all day.
After the cleaning, came the reward. Finished my food, grabbed my pink tumbler, and settled in with a series. That line “And you still married me to His Majesty?” had me pausing mid-bite 😂 Perfect way to end the reset.
Clean space. Clean body. Full belly. That’s my kind of weekend experience.
How do you reset when the week ends? What’s your Saturday non-negotiable?
