For the heat: a beer

alt

Hello, friends around the world. Hello, friends at Hive. It's Saturday, and as everyone knows, Saturday is the perfect day to go out and have fun or relax in the best place in the house. Of course, accompanied by a delicious cold beer.

alt

It's September, and my vacation is about to end. It flew by. What hasn't gone away is the heat, and even though it rains some afternoons, the heat persists. So, while I check Hive, I go to the fridge and take out the perfect antidote for these temperatures: a Zulia beer.

alt

Zulia beer is a Venezuelan beer with a long tradition in our country, which is currently celebrating its 100th anniversary. It is a Pilsner-style beer with an alcohol content of 4.5%, making it very drinkable and popular with young people. Its ingredients are: water, pure malted barley, hops, and stabilizers.

This beer comes in two versions: in the green returnable bottle that I have shared many times here and in the yellow can. This can costs $1.50 and the bottle costs $0.70. For a while, it was one of the cheapest beers in the country. Oh, its distinctive symbol is a blue eagle with outstretched wings carrying the brand logo in its talons.

alt

This beer is characterized by its smooth, refreshing taste with moderate bitterness, ideal for hot climates. It also smells like malt and cookies or sweet desserts. Personally, I like it, but I feel that, although it is very refreshing, it is also very simple.

alt

Anyway, I drank the beer and had no doubts about that saying: “Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy.”
