Nuevamente, el mítico estadio de Wembley es parte de la historia del fútbol al albergar por primera vez a la "Women's Finalissima" en dónde se enfrentan las actuales campeonas de la Eurocopa femenina, la selección de Inglaterra vs. El seleccionado de Brasil quien son las campeonas de la Copa América femenina. En mi opinión no había mejor manera de dar comienzo a la primera edición de la disputa de este título teniendo como protagonista a dos de las mejores selecciones en sus continentes y digo las mejores porque a pesar de que son campeonas, ambos equipos han dominado tanto que presentan buenos récords tales como por ejemplo Inglaterra que se ha mantenido invicta por 29 partidos consecutivos o Brasil que mantuvo su portería en cero en la Copa América.
