Tantos fallos en querer controlar el juego, las pocas jugadas hechas, pasaron factura cuando cayó el gol peruano, otra vez un gol a balón parado, otro rebote dentro del área que favorece al rival, otra vez la falta de concentración de la defensa, esto fueron los males que tuvo la selección en todo los días que se estuvo en la Copa América, creo que ese gol anímicamente tumbo a la afición, no tanto al técnico que realizo los cambios en el ataque buscando el empate y tal vez la posible victoria, pero tristemente no pudo ser así, el tiempo no fue suficiente para un juego que no se debía perder, lamento que una sola jugada tumbara a la Vinotinto porque el juego fue parejo, Fariñez creo que tuvo el juego más tranquilo en las tres jornadas que fue titular, lamento que el ataque no fue el mejor y que la presión parece que pudo más que las ganas de seguir en la Copa.

En mis años siendo seguidor del futbol, nunca he visto como un cuerpo técnico sufra tanto para conformar un equipo, para desarrollar una idea, para formar un grupo que sepas que está dispuesto a competir, Peseiro tenía una oportunidad de oro para estar con el grupo durante un gran tiempo y eso no pudo hacerlo, tantos factores afectaron que el DT y varios jugadores no estuvieran en este momento importante de la selección, sea por irresponsabilidades que llevaron a un brote de Covid-19 en el grupo, sea por lesiones o porque supuestamente no querían viajar, tantas cosas que al final este DT extranjero tuvo que dar la cara y hacer que otros también siguiera su ejemplo y dar un paso adelante para defender la camiseta Vinotinto, jugadores que muchos denigran por ser de nuestra liga de futbol, que no son los habituales y que hicieron lo necesario para hacer que este equipo llegara con vida a la última fecha, lamento que por esos jugadores no tuvieran una oportunidad más, personalmente me fuera gustado ver esa misma línea defensiva en este último juego, creo que era lo justo, creo que los cambios ofensivos debieron llegar tal como se hizo en este juego, tal vez mantenido el 0 en el resultado era lo primordial para después dar el paso hacia el ataque en los últimos 20 minutos, pero ese plan fallo igual que la ofensiva que sigue siendo una gran prueba que Peserio debe aprobar; la Vinotinto decidió mostrar ese rostro de derrota que nadie quiere ver, decidió ser la que se ha visto en los juegos de eliminatoria, creo que lo más evidente es que ha mostrado los rostros de los jugadores que ya no deben estar en la selección, no se puede seguir con los jugadores que han estado en otras fases y que no han conseguido nada, creo que se debe buscar en jugadores que estén dispuestos a jugar por la camiseta y no por mantener un estatus, que sean convocados por el técnico y no por la federación y los amigos periodistas, creo que es la hora de cambiar la cara a la Vinotinto, porque esa es la que quiero ver, el color que representa a la selección y no la se vio en este juego una que lamentablemente fue gris.
