Hello everyone, I hope you are well 😊 Yesterday I went to Leça da Palmeira on my bike, to see the sunset. I love riding my bike at the end of the afternoon, as I live close to the beach, I always go for a ride and if I see something that I think is beautiful to share with you, I can stop the bike and stop, while by car I can't stop anywhere, anyway. bicycle also saves diesel and does not pollute the environment 😊
Walking along the beach does me a lot of good, as I live 2 minutes from the beach every day I walk by the beach and watch the beauty of the sea, even when it is raining. I also really like writing right here on the beach for you 😊
It is said that Leça da Palmeira is the most beautiful land in Portugal, I believe. Leça da Palmeira is really beautiful. I advise everyone who visits the Porto district to come here to Leça. I have family in France who usually came here to visit us, but I didn't live here in Leça I lived in Maia, but this year they came to my house and were amazed 😊 and I also have a friend from Lisbon who came to my house too and was stunned by the beaches here... She said Lisbon is beautiful but Leça da Palmeira is even prettier
A very good thing here in Leça is that there are several walkways, some are for bicycles only and others for walking
I also want to show you the Leça da Palmeira tea room. The salon is called the Boa Nova tea salon, this salon was built on top of the rocks, a prophet created by Rui Paula. The space has been seen as one of the most gastronomic sites in the country. In 2016 it won its first Michelin star and in 2019 its second.
The singularity of the building that houses the building constitutes a paradigm of the insertion of architecture in the landscape. Born from the stones and with hands given to the sea, it is classified as a national monument and integrated in the international architectural itinerary and can be booked by appointment
There is also a pool that reminds me a lot of my childhood, the tidal pool is located on the beach of Leça da Palmeira. The swimming pool has salt water and is spectacular. I have my birthday in the summer and my birthdays from 9 to 17 were always celebrated here in this pool. This year the swimming pool went into repairs, but it will open in June 😊 Last year the swimming pool of the tides if it was only half a day it was 4€ if it was the whole day it was 7€
The pool was between the rocks but then a part of the beach was only for those who paid for the pool. People could choose to keep their towels on the sand or on the grass. The view from the pool at the top is amazing ❤️
There is also the petrogal that in the photo below you can see that kind of red and white headlights, I already said a little in the previous post if you want to know a little about what it is
Finally I will show your beach that I like the most. This beach is the smallest beach in Leça and the one with the fewest people. Many people don't even know this beach!!! But this beach is close to the lighthouse, which I haven't written any posts about yet but I want to show you because it's VERY interesting and beautiful!
