Hi, I hope you're all well 馃槂 Today I'm going to tell you about my weekend outing 馃槂 Last weekend I went to the Santo In谩cio Zoo. I hadn't been there a few years ago, about 10, and it's changed so much!!! I made this collage so you can see the variety of places they have there!
The first stop is mandatory 馃槂 look at these cute animals, the meerkats. It's impossible not to stop and look, some perched on tree trunks, super attentive to everything around them, and others on the ground peeking out too. Meerkats are super curious animals.
Look at this meerkat on guard right near its burrow. These animals are true guardians.
Further on, I saw this very educational area that caught my attention. The zoo alerts us to a very serious problem: deforestation in Portugal, as in the rest of the world. It makes us reflect on our actions and the importance and duty we have to preserve natural habitats.
The monkey part was my favorite. The monkeys really do have things that are similar to our knowledge; we caught them in weekend mode, they were very relaxed 馃槀 They had many monkeys and many of them were resting 馃槀 There was a baby monkey there playing with its mother, and the mother just wanted to sleep 馃槀 They have the same behaviors similar to ours.
Further on we see the famous Lemur forest, and how incredible it was! 馃槂 There were many perched in their wooden houses high in the trees, and then several sitting amidst the vegetation.
Here we have a little corner full of rabbits, they were all very entertained, some eating straw together at the feeder, others jumping around, and some resting and sunbathing 馃槂
This photograph is very beautiful; it shows the interaction between the animals and those who work here, feeding them and giving them lots of love 馃槏 as soon as they saw how they treated the donkeys that came for the hiring process. It's wonderful to see that the animals here are very well cared for 馃槂
I also loved watching the goats and sheep being fed 馃槂 their enclosure is super spacious and has a wooden tower that they love. These animals bring so much life to this zoo.
I discovered this pig that was having its lunch 馃槀 it was eating very slowly 馃構 what a wonderful lunch, very fresh, high-quality fruit 馃構
Here we have tropical birds, each one more beautiful than the next. Here I saw birds that even scared me because of how big they were, they were really big, I didn't even know that birds of that size existed, and on top of that, there were really live nuclei, and there were several nuclei, those birds were so beautiful.
Look, I managed to find the red panda. Pandas usually spend the day sleeping perched in the trees high up. I was so happy to see the red panda.

Ol谩, espero que estejam todos bem 馃槂 Hoje vou falar-vos do meu passeio do fim de semana 馃槂 No fim de semana passado, fui ao Jardim Zool贸gico de Santo In谩cio. J谩 n茫o ia l谩 h谩 uns 10 anos, e mudou tanto!!! Fiz esta colagem para verem a variedade de locais que l谩 existem!
A primeira paragem 茅 obrigat贸ria 馃槂 Vejam s贸 estes bichinhos fofos, os suricatas! 脡 imposs铆vel n茫o parar para olhar, uns empoleirados em troncos de 谩rvores, super atentos a tudo 脿 volta, e outros no ch茫o, a espreitar tamb茅m. Os suricatas s茫o animais super curiosos.
Veja este suricata de guarda bem perto da sua toca. Estes animais s茫o verdadeiros guardi玫es.
Mais 脿 frente, deparei-me com uma 谩rea muito educativa que me chamou a aten莽茫o. O jardim zool贸gico alerta-nos para um problema muito grave: a desfloresta莽茫o em Portugal, tal como no resto do mundo. Faz-nos refletir sobre as nossas a莽玫es e sobre a import芒ncia e o dever que temos de preservar os habitats naturais.
A parte dos macacos foi a minha preferida. Os macacos t锚m realmente caracter铆sticas semelhantes 脿s que conhecemos; fomos busc谩-los num fim de semana tranquilo, estavam muito relaxados 馃槀 Havia muitos macacos e muitos deles estavam a descansar 馃槀 Tinha um filhote a brincar com a m茫e, e a m茫e s贸 queria dormir 馃槀 T锚m comportamentos muito semelhantes aos nossos.
Mais adiante, vemos a famosa floresta de l茅mures, e como era incr铆vel! 馃槂 Havia muitos empoleirados nas suas casas de madeira no cimo das 谩rvores, e v谩rios outros sentados no meio da vegeta莽茫o.
Aqui temos um cantinho cheio de coelhos, todos muito entretidos, uns a comer palha juntos no comedouro, outros a saltar por a铆, e alguns a descansar e a apanhar sol 馃槂
Esta fotografia 茅 muito bonita; mostra a intera莽茫o entre os animais e os que aqui trabalham, alimentando-os e dando-lhes muito carinho 馃槏 assim que viram como tratavam os burros que vieram para o processo de recrutamento. 脡 maravilhoso ver que os animais aqui s茫o t茫o bem cuidados 馃槂
Tamb茅m adorei ver as cabras e ovelhas a serem alimentadas 馃槂 o seu recinto 茅 super espa莽oso e tem uma torre de madeira que elas adoram. Estes animais trazem muita vida a este jardim zool贸gico.
Descobri este porco a almo莽ar 馃槀 estava a comer muito devagar 馃構 que almo莽o maravilhoso, fruta fresca e de 贸tima qualidade 馃構
Aqui temos aves tropicais, cada uma mais bela que a outra. Vi aves que at茅 me assustaram de t茫o grandes que eram, eram mesmo enormes, nem sabia que existiam aves deste tamanho, e al茅m disso, existiam n煤cleos vivos, e v谩rios n煤cleos, estas aves eram t茫o bonitas.
Olha, consegui encontrar o panda-vermelho! Os pandas passam geralmente o dia a dormir empoleirados no alto das 谩rvores. Fiquei t茫o feliz por ver o panda-vermelho!
