The cruise stopped in Lisbon, the capital of Portugal, a place where I had already been in 2018 and I must say that I found it even more chaotic. It is clear that the tourist pressure has increased even more and it is a very popular destination especially in the summer. However, for my parents it is the first time and I must say that they liked it a lot as a city.
We also wanted to take a tour with the classic bus, I don't know what it's called, which basically goes around the whole monuments and tells you a bit about the history of both Lisbon and the monuments themselves, and I have to say that it was a nice thing, especially because my parents don't walk much so it was the fastest way to see the monuments and unfortunately I also forgot to take photos because I was busy with the guide who was telling me a bit about these monuments.
As I was telling you, the negative thing about cruise ships in my opinion is the fact that you have very little time to visit the city because they then leave almost immediately, especially if you are on a seven-day cruise and this is something, as I was telling you, that I don't like very much, but I was happy to have accompanied my parents to see this city.
Of course you can't leave Lisbon without tasting one of the most important desserts which is pastel De nada, I had obviously already eaten them, of course now they are found all over the world but the ones eaten in Lisbon are always better. See you in my next post and I wish you all a good day
