The Aveiro museum is free for anyone who wants to visit and it even has a tourist guide that explains everything very well 馃榾 It was one of the best museums I visited and it's still free
But unfortunately this museum will close because they will need this space and they will take the planes that land to another museum, the museum in sintra that our tourist guide told us to go there because it is much bigger than this one. I was already delighted with this one so I would definitely love the one in Coimbra. I can't recommend you to come to this one because it's going to close but without a doubt I recommend going to the one in sintra
Here in this "warehouse" we learn about the history of military and civil aviation here in Portugal.
Here you can see aircraft, engines, flight equipment, very old photographs. I found it very interesting to see some old planes that are still used.
There are planes that were built right here in Portugal and 2 that were offered by the United States
The museum is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 10 am to 12.30 pm and from 1.30 pm to 6 pm
We were very well received, we were able to take pictures at will and we observed everything very calmly and we were even able to enter one of the planes, which was where the pilots learned to drive the planes
I really liked the plane that was used to help other people, but at that time the nurses also had to have a pilot course to be able to go where they needed to go
Now we have this one that does the same job but now there are pilots and there are nurses. This plane is from 2020, it is the most recent of all
