I am feeling so proud, happy and accomplished with my new home coming up. It has been my and hubby's dream home since the time we got married. It took a very long time, more then 25 years but here we are now finally having what we always desired. We wanted a home away from city life, in a remote place between the nature with very minimal life around and 2 years back our dream started taking shape. We knew what location we wanted but for many years our financial position did not allow us. We saved for all these years and then finally we could manage to invest in our dream home.
The house is not yet ready, it's still coming up, the basic structure is ready. Since the time I have come to Mumbai, all I have been doing is travelling up and down for the house work. I am exhausted but it makes me feel so good. Every little bit of it feels worth.
Today I am going to share with you all the views from my terrace. The steps are made so I could climb up to the terrace. All around it is surrounded by mountains and open green fields. The views are just amazing.
This is exactly what we had dreamed of.
On one side there are some few houses built up. I kind of like that as well, as being completely alone is not very safe in these places.

I cannot wait for it to complete and then I can start living here for majority of my time. I have kept a good amount of garden space also to do some home farming. The space is small but I plant some of the essentials that I use regularly. I am also thinking about running some wellness programs here. It will take around a year more for it to get completed as lot of work is still pending and even the farming part has to be done.
What do you all think of this place. How does it make you feel? I am so charmed with this place that I just cannot wait to start living here. Specially in monsoon, this whole place becomes magical with greenery all around. I can also go trekking; it will be very adventurous.
