I read about fast street food in a post by @tarazkp (Sorry, if you got bothered with mention), in which he wrote about how fast food can be very harmful to our bodies. I did a lot of research on this and came to the conclusion that I should also spread awareness. So, I found out a lot of things that I would like to share with you all and I would like you to be careful because "WHERE THERE IS LIFE, THERE IS THE WORLD."
One thing is common in all of us that we all love good food. When we work for late nights or feel tired or want to celebrate an achievement. What We Do? We immediately order a juicy burger sometimes a plate of spicy biryani or crispy fries with combo of Cold Drink to get relaxed. It is as quick as harmful, it tastes great and it makes us happy in the moment.

It is really a shocking trend in many cities, street vendors selling french fries mixed with 18 different spices and flavors, are you sure they are using health friendly things?. When the host tried them he realized there was no real flavor just an extreme painful amount of red chili used to hide low quality ingredients...
When extreme spice and low quality oil enter your body they cause severe acid reflux. This acid is so strong that it can literally burn holes in a person's stomach and intestines over time.
Even worse, many of times this addiction often starts right at home. "HOW?" Parents buy these cheap street fries for their toddlers as a quick treat. Because these street foods are very cheap and they think about taste but never look for quality of food, many of vendors use the lowest quality unmonitored ghee and recycled oil that has been boiled over and over again. This recycled oil is highly toxic for the human heart, "Know What Are You Eating, Before You Eat".
As being a Doctor and writer who deeply believes in discipline and consistency, I know that changing habits isn't easy at all. You do not have to stop enjoying life not even I am saying that to you but you must protect your body.
Here are simple everyday precautions you can take to stay safe 👇:
Make Fast Food at Home; If your family or kids crave burgers, pizzas or fries make them at home. When you cook at home you control the quality of the oil you use fresh ingredients and you keep the spice levels safe as per your own taste and most importantly you know the hygiene.
Limit Outside Food to Once a Month; Treat eating out as a rare special occasion not a daily routine. Do not order food just because you are bored, tired or working a late shift. Keep some snacks with you to spend your time and those little cravings.
Choose Quality Over Price; If you do choose to eat out avoid unhygienic street carts that use cheap open market oil. Go to cleaner places that care about hygiene even if it costs a little more, "Health Is Importan".
Stop the "Cold Drink" Myth; Many people drink a cold soda after a heavy meal thinking it helps digest the food. Really? Does this works? In reality the high sugar and chemicals combine with heavy fats to put extreme pressure on your liver and stomach. Drink water instead...
Listen to Your Body: Do not ignore constant bloating stomach pain or never ignore heartburn by just taking a quick antacid pill. These are warning signs from your stomach telling you to stop and to take care of yourself...
At the end of the day, health is your greatest asset. If you have all the money, success, and fame in the world but your body is failing, you cannot enjoy a single bit of it.
Do not wait for a medical emergency or a hospital visit to change your lifestyle. Consistency in eating clean, fresh, home-cooked meals is the best investment you can make for your future. Your future self will thank you!
