I read this quote today. This is so true, winter is not just a season its a celebration, when we can enjoy many healthy and tasty food with our loved ones.

Today i would like to share the recipe of green garlic sabzi/chutney. This is also a winter special recipe which we can enjoy with chapathi as a main sabzi or a side dish. Do you aware with this ? Actually before marriage i didn't know about it but in my in law house i saw that everyone loves to have green garlic chutney as a side dish.

Green garlic looks like spring onions but taste differ from it. It has strong taste and thin leaves than spring onions. Green garlic (hara lahsun)sabzi is a quick and easy recipe made with few ingredients. and you can store it in refrigerator till the next day. First when you keep ready the ingredients it takes few minutes to prepare.

Green garlic 1.5 cup finely chopped
Oil 2 tbsp
Hing
Salt according to taste
Turmaric powder 1 pinch
Red chilli powder 1tsp
First clean the leaves (remove routes and outer skin) and chopped in the small pieces (finely) .
Wash it properly and strain all water.
Take a pan and heat oil in it. When the oil is hot enough add hing in it.
Add chopped green garlic leaves in it. Make sure oil is hot enough.
Add salt, turmaric powder and red chilli powder. Mix well.
Cook it on the medium flame for 2 minutes.
This is a simple recipe but may be it's new for many. We get green garlic leaves only in winters. So enjoy the winter to the fullest with health and tasty winter special food 😉
