Today I had to run the crab traps, I have 7 in the river but I only got 15 crabs, which is not good. The 2 traps that have been in the water the longest were already getting dirty so I had to bring them home so I can clean them. You can see the black scum on the red trap better than the green one. When they get like this, they will not catch.
After running the traps, something was luring me to the shore on the other side of the big cove that is not far from the boat ramp. I can not explain why I was led there, did I defy physics? I am not sure if that is what it should be called, but it sounds good to me.
As far as I know, there has never been a house here. Maybe years ago it was someones dumping grounds. I found what looked like an old washing machine.
Not far from the washer, I see a small sink, I think it was a bathroom sink.
I walked around but not far, and found a wash basin. I have to wonder why I had the feeling to go here, with all of the places along the creek, I chose this one and found these things.
I told my Son about it and asked him if one day he would go back there with me. My wrist still bothers me so I want him to use my metal detector. Maybe that is why I was drawn there.
I also found a small creek that I never knew was there.
