Hello #Needleworkmonday. Today I’m sharing a two-tone coaster in yellow and dark gray. I’d had the gray yarn stashed away for many months because I always tried to knit with a smaller needle size, and it would get tangled. Here are the details on how I made it.

I’ve managed to master the challenge of crocheting with multi-ply yarn; I used a larger crochet hook to match the yarn’s thickness. The key is to use the right tool, because that way the yarn doesn’t get damaged and you stay calm—since when you can’t work a stitch because of the yarn’s thickness, the project gets complicated and it’s frustrating not to be able to reach your goal.
I’m happy because, while I’ve been in the countryside, I’ve managed to crochet in my free time—even though sometimes there isn’t enough light to work with dark yarn. Little by little, day after day, I’m finally sharing this coaster with you. Plus, my collection of samples is growing.

... Y listo el posavaso pétalos amarillos
He logrado consolidar este reto, tejer con un hilo de muchas hebras, he utilizado un crochet de mayor tamaño acorde al calibre del hilo. Lo importante es usar el instrumento adecuado, porque así el hilo no se estropea y uno se calma, porque cuando no se puede tejer un punto por el grosor, el proyecto se complica y uno se entristece al no poder lograr el objetivo.
Estoy contenta porque estando en el campo he logrado tejer en mis ratos libres, aunque a veces no haya suficiente luz para hacer puntos en hilo oscuro, poco a poco, días tras días, por fin les comparto este posavaso. Además, mi muestrario está aumentando.
