12 rabi up awal brithday date of prophet peace be upon him

I celebrate my prophet every single day, every single minute and in everything I do almost.. only beacuse I am weak Alhamdulillaah.

I contemplate on his life and his sacrifices every day. (Whenever i feel lazy to perform my salah esp ishak, i remind myself of his trips up n down the 7 folds of heaven to see Rabbul alamiin, to bargain the number of salahs we are obligated to perform) how can we disappoint someone who loved us, right?

I say selawat everyday, Alhamdulillaah because he lived worrying about what will happen to me, to you. He remembered us all the time. So how can we forget him?

I follow his sunnah ( Insha'allaah as much as I can, without picking n choosing only the ones I like and approve) in which my actions emulate his, every single day.. Allah himself said "laqad kaana rasulillaahi uswatun hasanah."

...not 1 day in a year only, and not just on 12 Rabiul awal. Masha'allaah.

Why do you only dare to do it once a year only? and that too not on his actual date of birth?

Some authentic scholars have found proof that 12 Rabiul awal was the day Rasulullaah ﷺ wafat. His actual date of birth cannot be determined.

So whose birthday are you celebrating? And whose example are you following? His? His sahabah? They have never celebrated the birthday of Rasulullaah ﷺ. Not when he was alive, and never after he had wafat. Neither did any of the 4 imams of the 4 mazhabs. Imam Shafie certainly did not.

If you did your research, instead of meekly following the mistaken masses like sheep (like I once did. Mati-matian sambut Maulid. Zaman jahilliyyah) you'll discover that the birthday celebration or maulid of Rasulullaah ﷺ originated from a munafik, a Jew, a yahudi who disguised himself as a muslim. Go.. find out for yourself.

So whose birthday n whose life and examples are you following?

Be brave! Be brave enough to stand and be absolutely loyal to your Prophet ﷺ (and ONLY your prophet). Even if you haveto stand alone..
