My Name is Remi and i am an aspiring software developer . I use the word 'aspiring' because i believe that becoming a programmer / software developer is a continuous learning process .
That being said , i have worked in the tech industry for over a decade supporting banking applications in countries from Sub - Saharan Africa to the United States .
I can tell you some horror stories about being a consultant and the extreme pressure i have felt from working on extremely complex projects with very little resources and very tight ( and in some cases , extremely ridiculous ) deadlines
I have always loved the idea of being a programmer but for most of my career i was stuck in applications support roles and not software development .
While working for one of the largest banks in the world , i stumbled on Bitcoin and then went down the rabbit hole to explore the underlining technology behind this revolutionary protocol
This resulted in me leaving the financial services sector and following my dream of being a software developer and building applications on top of this new protocol
These Videos are focused on Distributed Ledgers and Block Chain Technology with the goal of taking the fear and complexity from this seemingly complex topic and explaining it in a way that's very basic and fun to watch
