Education around the world is undergoing a major transformation, as curricula have become more student-focused, and teaching methods have become more flexible in schools to allow more collaborative learning.

With the rapid growth of the educational technology industry, teaching methods around the world today rely more and more on interesting technologies such as artificial intelligence and even robots, which we hope Arab schools will soon see and incorporate their curricula into all subjects.

Artificial intelligence

The role of teachers in schools changes gradually, instead of giving lectures to students in the classroom, teachers will play an easy role by guiding students towards thinking, implementing projects, activities and working in groups.

The assistant teacher in this new role will be Artificial Intelligence (AI), and technology is expected to allow teachers more time to focus on developing human teaching skills such as emotional intelligence and creativity, as AI will take longer-time tasks such as examining papers for existence Cheating, testing and correction.

Hybrid education

Parents who choose their children's schools get a lot of support nowadays thanks to technology, if they have gaps in their knowledge or they cannot teach school materials effectively at home, they can use online services or register in a traditional learning environment to supplement their education.

This is known as hybrid school learning, and is expected to become more popular in the coming years. It is flexible, especially for parents who want to teach their children in school but are unable to do it one way or another.

Mike MacShane, director of national research at EdChoice in the Forbes magazine, wrote: “For many families, the costs and obligations related to home schooling are simply too heavy a burden, some parents have no confidence in their ability to teach each subject to their children, others cannot Devoting themselves to full-time home schooling, perhaps most important of all, that many families of home education want their children to meet with other children to learn how to participate, collaborate, and communicate with others, and here comes hybrid school learning, a model in which children divide their time between basic education Wellesley traditional educational environment, this may be three days at home and two days at school, and two days at home and three days at the school, part of the day at home and part of the day in schools, or a variety of other options. Augmented reality (AR)

AR has become popular in global schools, enabling more 3D experiences that revive abstract concepts for students, and this interactive experience is implemented by digital elements using a camera on a smartphone where those concepts appear exactly as we show when using Snapchat filters.

AR content can be a tool to motivate children to study, as they can better understand the study material if some data such as fun facts, historical information or 3D models are added to the lessons, or when they can use their phone's camera and scan parts of their books to show three shapes Dimensions, audio clips, or videos.

Virtual Reality (VR)

Compared to augmented reality, virtual reality is more comprehensive, as students can be transported to different worlds using VR glasses such as Google Lens which are becoming widely used in schools.

With virtual reality, students can experience what they read outside the description of words and illustrations of the book by tricking the mind into thinking that it is a completely new place, as virtual reality tools like Google Expeditions allow students to visit cultural sites around the world without leaving the class or even returning in time Suitable to a historical time such as the era of dinosaurs.
