This apple does not poison. It can't poison because there is already too many poisoned souls that need to be healed. There have been people with similar outlooks on the world, but have come to hate each other.
This is all for the sake of greedy irresponsible people in power that need to get their way. They don't care about the people they serve. They never will.
This leaves a divided community that needs to come together. Even the so called evil witch realises this and decides to use her power for the good of mankind.
“Whoever eats this apple will become selfless. They will change their ways. They will have the interests of everyone at heart. This will not make them weaker, only stronger.”
The witch will now go to visit the people with power. She will take the apple and give it the the main leader. She decides to take a whole basket of the healing apples.
She knocks on the door.
“Hello, who is it?”
“The apple lady. I bring you apples,” said the witch.
The door opens, it is a policeman. He takes the basket of apples.
“Look, apples for everyone.”
“They need to be tested first,” said a fellow officer. “They could be poisoned.”
“How do we do that?”
“Give some to the rats.”
