Prompt: Plaid
War is everywhere! It has been going on all summer and there is no end in sight. It is a sad state of affairs. They'd always got along so well. But the heat had done something to these warriors.
On one side, Shortbread biscuits. They had spent too long in the hot kitchen, in a plaid coloured packet. On the other side, McVities Digestives.
What had caused all this?
It didn't help that the electricity was cut off, resulting in a very smelly freezer. It also doesn't help that the occupants were on a long holiday back to their homeland.
But now, they are locked into battle. The fight is ferocious, crumbs are everywhere.
Then they stop and look around. What is this?
Cockroaches appear. Oh no, they're hungry. They're after all the biscuits. The biscuits must call a truce and stand side by side. Digestive and Shortbread. It is the only way to ensure survival.
Then the kitchen door opens. The cockroaches have all gone.
In walks a male 6 foot human.
“Woah, can you smell that?” said the man “Look what has happened here. We’ll need air freshener, jif and bicarbonate of soda.”
There is a second man. “Before we start, let's get some coffee and biscuits. Let's get shortbread biscuits, the ones in the plaid packet.”
“Yes, it looks like they had mice here.”
