Planche 1, Resistence 0

The structure of my routine is divided into three parts. The first two exercises are the positions I find most challenging, such as the tuck advance with a 4-second hold and the half straddle with a 5-second hold (although I do this one with a resistance band). I do four sets of each, starting strong but maintaining control, and they help me strengthen my shoulders more and more each day. The second part is easier in terms of technique, but when it comes to endurance, it's a different story. Half of the routine begins with 5 tuck push-ups with 5 holds, performing the push-ups with shoulder strength and the holds with the serratus anterior engaged. This part ends with a 5x5x5 lean planche sequence, which, despite its low technical difficulty, is surely one of the best exercises in the entire routine.
The final part begins with another lean exercise, this time the serratus anterior re-engagement, activating and deactivating it a total of 5 times. Despite the fatigue, this was managed without much difficulty, allowing me to move on to the last exercise. The farmer's walk, an exercise that's perfect for finishing this tiring routine, consists of keeping the serratus anterior engaged with the arm immobilized at a certain angle while holding a weight. If weights aren't available, a resistance band is a good alternative.
Currently, I've made significant progress in straddle. Today, I managed to hold my first strict straddle for three seconds using a resistance band. While I'm still far from my goal of straddle without a band, it's a much closer step than I was a couple of months ago. Despite losing ground in the front lever and the hefesto, I've made giant strides in the straddle planche, something I also owe to my partner Kako for his constant support and, of course, for the routine. My goal is clear: to master a clean four-second straddle planche and several power moves to become a more well-rounded athlete and have a better chance in semi-professional competitions. Even though I'm a freestyle-only athlete and still in the amateur category, I hope to improve enough to perform well in upcoming competitions this year, whether they're in Hive, here in Falc贸n, or in states near Falc贸n. That's all for today, and I hope to see you in my next post.
