My nick name is mountea, from Shanghai, China. As a fan of cryptocurrency and blockchain, it's my interesting experience to find the steem community. The crypto currency is growing very fast, especially in China. I just saw a news that in the cyptocurrency market, US, Japan, China and Korea are the top 4. And for the number of bitcoin mining nodes, China has been jump to No.2 by passing Japan. The No.1 is US.
However, as we all know, many governments don't like the growing of cryptocurrency. China is somtimes one of them but sometimes is not. Many cryptocurrency websites and trading websites are blocked to avoid the public do speculation. And many rules are release to forbidden ICO. But things are always changing. One change is that China is studying and considering to offering its official cryptocurrency. The other is the main cities and provinces have supporting policies and fundings for blockchain companies. Although cryptocurrency is not the main stream in China, it will grow in the near furture and today is the starting point.
