Today everyone is talking about crypto, and everyone wants to go into crypto. People are singing praises of crypto.
The main question is what will cryptocurrency look like in the next 5-10 years?
Of a truth, the future is not predictable; nobody can tell what the future holds. Nobody will believe that crypto will be where it is today. I remember when Bitcoin came into existence; my friend begged me to invest, but look at Bitcoin today, moving so fast in the industry. Some projects that look promising can disappear tomorrow.
Most people feel safe using cryptocurrency; it feels like a separate financial activity. In the next five to ten years, cryptocurrency is really going to take over finance. People may be using applications that are powered by blockchain without them even knowing it. It will never come to their minds that they are using cryptocurrency; in their minds, they are sending money.
In the next five to ten years I see cryptocurrency developing a token that will represent digitally on the blockchain assets such as funds, bonds, and so on. Of a truth, some instruments can be represented as digital tokens; they will help some financial transactions very fast in the future.
Another development will be regulation; it will help the crypto industry feel like a normal part of the financial system. It will give consumers the confidence, making it harder for dishonest people to take advantage of people. I think the government should create a balance. In the future, cryptocurrency will become less visible to ordinary users.
The future of cryptocurrency is not guaranteed; crypto is still a developing technology, and its value can change anytime. The transformation we may be looking for in five or ten years to come will not be that everyone will start paying everything with cryptocurrency; it may happen with blockchain technology helping money and financial assets.
