That was how my post posted to Steemit. Will APPICS always post to Steemit or is this just in the test phase? One of the reasons I don't post on DaPPS more with differing kinds of content is because we try to put out one quality post a day (and that means more than 1 photo with text!)..
The power of Steem blockchain is in its Apps. As we know, Steemit.com is an old-looking unfriendly user interface! It was never intended to be the main show -- the Applications (Dapps) that come onto the blockchain are what we are all here for! Apps like Dtube, Dlive, Utopian.io, and soon APPICS!!
However, let it be known that I have an Instagram habit and that I love this type of sharing, but just don't want it going to my Steemit feed (that's my blog!)...
So what has it been like testing APPICS?

First I had to download the Test Flight App, then Appics App from the App Store
It feels really good to be able to post to the blockchain and USE Steem from my IPhone (I know there are Phone Apps out there, but this is the only one I've used.)
Yes, this App is in Beta and by invitation only. I have heard that if you want to test it too, you can go to their Telegram page and make a request. There are quite a few people on there and it seems they're inviting them in waves so make a request if you feel it!
Next, a real looking updated, modern, attractive and sleek App that works on Steem!
Can you feel my excitement? I've been waiting for this for quite a while. Hahah it's a shame we have to say that, but Steemit.com isn't the dev's first priority (Okay, we've established that right?)...
For the record, I always turn notifications OFF on my phone and I always have it on airplane so of course I pressed NO! But it is cool that it works just like a real app that always wants to be in your ear.

And I really appreciate how they give the tutorial on how to find our Private Posting Key, cuz let's be honest, we've all googled that before!
Once I uploaded my photo...
I was given an option for filters, tags, and categories.
I do wish I could've typed in more of my chosen #tags like #tribesteemup, #sndbox or #ecotrain as those are some of my main ones and I know I can edit them in Steemit, but I'd like to be able to use them within APPICS, too.
That said, I'm super excited to learn how to navigate the App more. As mentioned earlier, I would prefer if I could just use it just sharing pics and not Spam my Steem feed-- will that be a thing in the future? I hope someone can answer my question.
I do like to share PICS with a phrase or a few paragraphs on Instagram, not BLOG POSTS haha so I'm excited for APPICS! I think this will be an incredible App to introduce so many people to Steem!! Get ready for the crowds, early adopters :D
