Didn't really feel like posting for a while, but today I found a reason for it. Both to revisit the experience on Android and because I happen to have an Android tablet, I wanted to see how the compatibility is working on it.

Hive dapps on tablets work more or less like on mobile phones, but they have more surface area (hence apps look really nice), and the aspect ratio is different (not as wide as phones, for example, or tall depending on the orientation). This can be good and bad, but usually ends up being another sort of pain for developers because they have to make apps work with all these aspect ratios.

I personally don't use the tablet as much as I would at home, because the PC is easier.

One of the reasons I like HiveSuite is to make sure I don't miss any replies I want to (that feature to go one by one and check them out is very important to me).

And also, the fact that you can check who is posting on all 4 types of "short content" things.

I am also doing this from within the @keychain browser, because that's the preferred way. But I know that's not the only one. But for me, it's just so much more convenient because you have all your keys in a protected space, and easily accessible for signing operations.

I am not going to mention everything I tested today, because that would be a huge post, but I will throw in some more examples that really work very well.

Snapie for example, is another preferred one! 🥰

Snapie has that look and feel for easy engagement, and also works very well on small-screen devices (like a phone). And that feature about the rewards is a common thing I use to share some of the exposure on Web2 social media.

I think it speaks for itself when we show off on other places that are trying to argue the same kind of freedom we have here. The difference is that we can keep doing it here without the problem of one day losing it all, because the platform decided so.

That's a Web2 problem, on Web3, and on Hive dapps, these things can't happen. Whatever is written on the blockchain stays there forever.

Games are another thing that makes a lot of sense on Tablets!

Because of the nature of competition, having something easily accessible (like the phone or a tablet) for a quick attack or click to claim or start production of the next building. Using a tablet for this kind of activity also makes a lot of sense to me.

I understand that not everyone has one, but I am just giving my own view on this (since I own one).

And on games where you usually have to click a lot of times, then it becomes a HUGE advantage on tablets. For example, when planting my crops on @dcrops game, it SOOOOOoooo much easier!

But there are many more activities that become quite easier on tablets. It's such an unexplored device in my opinion, especially when paired with remote internet access.

Anyhow, this is me today, exploring some dapps on my Tablet...
