Life is really a fricking roller coaster... yesterday, I was full of energy, excited, ready to go all the way into the morning even. Even almost fell asleep listening on X to the lovely voices of @crimsonclad, Joel, and the Zypto very English guy and the "younger?" mate from Biconomy.com, AND I could never forget THE VOICE! LOL
(not tagging everyone because my brain is currently out of service, and I didn't have the energy to grab account names, even if I know how to get them)
A completely scrumbag of a day, full of EXHAUSTING news, and a bunch of problems that just deplete you.
It's a lot of things to really come public here, so you will just stay with the rant!
Anyways, I don't want to sound broken or too exhausted or negative, but the reality is that sometimes people have these days (I am a person too, reality check). It will pass, don't worry... πππ€
Moving on...
Yesterday I shared this picture on X...
Which is from this app I vibe coded... https://hive-transactions-flow--forkyishere.replit.app
(and I am not yet done, and eventually it will become open source so people can do whatever they want with it)
But my point here (given I didn't have the brains to spit this out when I did the X post yesterday), is:
People really quickly forget about what's behind things, and eventually lose motivation... not because they forget, but because our brains can't really keep track at all times the imense world of how many people a project has behind, how much effort has been recorded so far, how many lines of code were really processed (or audited) by real brains and not just AI, etc...
Which often makes us lose perspective and then just "eventually" react without "a real representative" source of truth (for yourself), or because we change our minds to adapt to another new reality (of what we know).
Probably... when people reach certain limits, they get into this mode, I guess... π€·ββοΈ It is what it is... it does not mean I am (or others are) a gone/broken/lost cause.
But in Portuguese they translate to "O ponto" which is tottallly not the same! They say, "Qual Γ© o ponto?" LOLOl which should be "what is the point?" and instead means, "what is the dot?" π€£
Should be, "Porque Γ© que isso interessa?" - which means more or less, "why does that matter?"
Anyhow, always falling into rabbit holes here... the POINT is, we should move ON!
Step back, breathe, and look at things again...
You will often learn lots while getting out of your comfort zone, without even realising you did it. And then, look again... try harder, maybe? Put some effort into it (when you can), but make sure you are having fun!
That's what motivates me!
And yes, you won't be able to follow everything... I am already having a hard time just accepting that I should be helping some great people behind the scenes who are always trying to build amazing things... But I can't do all the things at the same time, and I think everyone here (humanely sane) understands that. Plus, we also need our chilling time... which is what I am trying to convey I am in need here.
Plus, staying at home for two weeks because of Influenza A, DOES NOT HELP!
But please... pleaseeeee!
Continue to be YOU!
