Fortunately or unfortunately, I have begun to grow addicted to work, turning it into an inseparable part of my self-escape rituals. To me, work feels like a clear, blue beach where I walk barefoot, fleeing from a hill-sized gray ghost chasing after me. This ghost is my own confused emotions: fear, sadness, anxiety, apprehension of the unknown, and the endless waiting for those fleeting things that will never come, no matter how much time I consume while draining myself in physical, mental, or sometimes spiritual effort.

I am weary of this, and I wonder: is there a way out? Or am I merely a captive inside a tiny cage, running in circles inside a wheel, just like a cute, innocent, yet deeply sad

white hamster. 🏃‍♀️🏖️🐹
