We were supposed to go up the Oriental Pearl TV Tower in Shanghai. It is a stunning, very tall tower that can be seen from many parts of the city.
the leader of our tour said :
The Oriental Pearl Radio and TV Tower, standing at a magnificent height of 468 meters
Construction began in July 1991 and was completed in May 1994.
Built to symbolize the city's booming modernity and economic resurgence following Pudong's development, it features unique spherical architectural elements representing pearls falling on a jade plate.
As one of China's premier landmark attractions, it draws millions of visitors annually, welcoming over five million tourists each year to its observation decks and revolving restaurants.
The long queue to enter and go up this tower took nearly two hours of our time, but it was totally worth it, and in future posts, I will share the views captured from the top of this tower.
By the way, these photos were edited using the custom software (WaterMarker) I wrote and talked about in my previous post.

I am still tweaking and improving this software, and I would love to hear your thoughts and feedback!
