The dog you see in the picture has a long story behind it.
It was my first day in Belgrade, and my friend was arriving in the evening, so I went to explore the city on my own in the morning. I was going randomly, not like every other time when I would know exactly where to go on Google Maps, and take photos of different things I saw on the street.
On my way back, I put our home address on Google Maps, and it was taking me through the outskirts of the city to our place.
There, I saw a dog that stood motionless while other dogs on both sides were barking at it furiously. This dog, however, did not react in any way.
You think it was looking at me in the camera, but it was not. It avoided looking at the groups of dogs around it, keeping only a straight line of sight.
I felt so sorry for it, but there was not much I could have done. There was no one around in that part of the city to ask for help, and to be perfectly honest, I was a little scared of the packs of dogs attacking me in a foreign country. I waited for some time for them to get bored and leave, but it did not happen.
They did not attack the dog, and the dog did not run away; they barked for a while.
To this day, I still do not know the reason.
