Swans have always had a certain kind of elegance, and being able to spot one somewhere in the world is a dream come true for any nature photographer who wants to capture a moment of such beauty. But when they appear in pairs, it becomes something more – a living, breathing symbol of love and devotion.
The beauty of how their slender necks curve to meet in the center and form a heart shape with the two birds is simply breathtaking. It takes a lot of patience to wait for the right moment, but it is worth it. You feel as if you have caught magic on camera, a moment of romance that is powerful enough to live on forever in the frame of your photograph.
In cases like these I feel especially grateful for being able to experience something so magical, and being able to share it through the viewfinder of my camera.
