Debunking of Myths Surrounding The Crusades
Destroying the myth, that those evil Christians just one day decided, for no reason at all, no provocation what so ever, decided to travel thousands of miles to go kill the poor peace loving Islamic Caliphate. This could not be further from the truth. The entire Crusades was retaliation for hundreds of years of constant invading war brought on by the Caliphate after the birth of Islam.
The cause for the Crusades was not "The belief that fighting in a crusade would give you forgiveness of sins" or to take control of Jerusalem away from the Muslims. It was to take back what was stolen by the Muslims Turks.
