Steem Monsters Beta packs are live and you can start buying them like crazy, I bought 23 packs for starters and I had nice unexpected results. Pack opening experience is improved, there are nice animations once you open rarer cards. You will get butterflies from excitement once the screen starts shaking when you open a legendary card. In my case I opened a new neutral legendary card Hydra and Lord of Darkness (needless to say Rexxie is my most common card).
Hydra is one of my favorite units from Heroes of Might and Magic 3, it will probably go in my every monster combo team considering it is a neutral card and can be played with everything. I also opened 3 gold foils and I will probably try to sell them on Steem Monster market. Also is it possible to combine alpha and beta cards once the tournaments start, or will they there be separate tournaments for each version?
