Investing in Steem Engine Scot Tokens; Potential/Risks/Difficulty

Steem Engine is only few months old and it already showed to every Steem user it's vast utility token creating service with Scots. When you delve deeper into this system you can see an endless potential for communities/tribes. Community leaders of every tribe can create their own custom made site and create their own token reward mechanism if they chose to invest. If this was a brand new thing on a brand new blockchain it would be harder to get any community rolling, but with already established Steem community every new token launch is visible to essentially everyone right from the start.

There lies the true potential in investing in Scot Tokens, chose any Scot Token you like, or chose every one of them and penta dip for those tokens and pick up those curation rewards. If you just dump your airdropped tokens it would be a shame for your long term token making potential, you just need to stake some of them and use their tags to start going. With time your token holdings should only increase, with time their price should increase too.

It is also good to know that there are some risks involved if you go a little bit crazy and buy huge amounts of tokens that just launched from the thin air. That is a good old investors dilemma, you should thoroughly explore who are the leaders of every tribe, are they legit, do they have a long term gameplan, is this just a get rich quick scheme while it's hot.

There is also an inherent difficulty when you want to join any of the Scot tribes if you're completely new to Steem blockchain, you need to have Steem account and learn what everything is, you need to have a keychain extension, you need to know what tribes are and what steem engine is. For any new user that difficulty curve could become a huge wall of information that could easily scare them away.

You need to know these things before you invest large. But imho it is perfectly fine to test the waters and stake with lower amounts of Steem, just to be on the safe side.
