Hello Hive

This is a very important subject as it relates to fashion and garment construction.
Now if you read till the end you will see the evidence of what am talking about.

Different body built requires different fashion design pattern.

You cannot see a dress on a slim person and want to sew the same design for yourself been chubby it won't look attractive because sometimes its the body shape that brings out the beauty of each outfit.

My sister wanted this very design that looks so beautiful on me without thinking of her body built, well my advice was little received, all she wanted was the style with her African print fabric.

I replicated the same and I trust that you can see the difference.

I wasn't proud of how the dress looked on her and had to collect it back now am on the verge of ripping it open to think of how I can manipulate it to something better for her

Its a simple off shoulder dress with a band around the waist and flair sleeves.

Here is the making process for her dress.

I made an excess cut of the chest measurements which I then inserted an elastic to pull it into a gathers.
