How is our day going?
I hope that we are having a good time and enjoying our day so far. It's really a beautiful one for me here today as I get to grace the beautiful face of my new niece
My sister had just put to bed some few days back and when she informed me of coming to visit my home this morning I was so delighted and left the work I was doing to stay at home and prepare for their coming.
Ever since she had put to bed and I had gone to visited the baby a couple of times I haven't had much time to go there again because of my numerous schedule. Now that the baby is over a month old and and they are about to resume school, they decided to visit all their well sister one more time.
I had the privilege of being visited today and it's being blissful.
What gift can we give a newborn. She has a lot of clothes from friends and family already.
I thought about something that will not hurt her skin and the idea of a headband, crochet cap of bracelets came up.
Yarns are usually very soft on the skin and besides the left over yarn is very little.
Also this interest me so much because I have been looking for how to improve on my crochet skills and haven't found much time for it lately.
Starting with a single crochet and a chain stitch I made a length That's about half her wrist.
I continued working on it until it was the width I desired.
The blends of colors were then used to embroider her name into the bracelet. Having made one first with white color, I notice some mistakes as the letters were far apart.
Trying a second one and the letters came out much more better
For the rest of the day I will be baby sitting my cute little nieces and attendeding to this host that have come visiting.
