It's good to come around the community one more time to share with us this tutorial on how to make a beautiful and fancy women berret hair cover I made for myself. It's a hair cover to match our church uniform of course and like I often say that we value covering of hair in our church even if it is just some piece of tiny cover on our heads.

There has been series of debate as to wether a women is meant to cover her hair in church or not, the scripture has addressed this issues in different text and just like the humans we are several meaning has been deduced from those text but rather than argue within ourselves we carry out most decent actions in faith that we may not put other baby Chriatians unto temptation of not knowing what to do or where to stand.

I made this berret cap to match our Sunday uniform outfit. We make different forms of women fashion wear Modesty doesn't have to be boring hence we make very beautiful and colorful women headgears to mach our outfits.

I'm just fulfilled that each time there is a call to purchase or make these women's headgears I am exempted from the extra expenses of doing such through a diy.

Before now I have not know how to sew a berret before and my first attempt at it was really not worth wearing. This time around I took my time to get the accurate measurements so that I can make a better fitted berret

Tutorial process

We need 4 pieces of fabric for this and 2 piece of warden to harden the berret for a firm standing on the head.

Start with creating a 4fold of fabric to form a diagonal shape like this

Measure out 6inches length and cut it into a circular form. You can increase this by 7-8 if you want a bigger cap.

Next cut out the lining and warden in the same manner. These are six pieces in all.
Pick out 3 pieces out of them and cut out the mid point using 3" while it is equally fold in diagonal.

This measurements range from 2.5-3.5" depending on the size of a human head. You can get the calculation by measuring one round head divided by 6.28 the circumference of a circle

Sew the clothes and lining separately with their warden which is that thick white material in-between the main clothes

Insert the linings into the clothes to cover up the inner of the cap

Seal the edges with a bias strip and then a little embellishments with beads or pearls as desired

The only challenge I have is that I don't know how to style this berret like the way I see other women do it.
