A happy new day to our dear community and friends onchain, I hope that we are having a good time. The weather has been really hot these days and almost unbearable to work under. The climate change is pretty bad at this time and I wonder how many people are concerned about this. Harsh weather is causing a lot of us to change our lifestyle and alot of things are getting damaged at the frequency of fire.

You may think that you have escaped the whole of this if you have a comfortable house to live in, An Air conditioner to regulate temperature and all of the other comfort you can afford, but climate change can be so bad that even in your homes it will becomes difficult to escape the hazards and natural disasters that comes with the effect of climate change.

Just Yesterday I joined the Columbian university team in a zoom meeting on methods of building a coping mechanisms for the current poor climate and how to avert further disaster. It's a certificate course where we learn more about climate in order to relate this to the larger world. If you desire to take a climate course you can hit me up on how to go about it.

Looking at thinks closely, the climate will force us to wear comfortable outfits especially during summer and watch out for what we eat. A lot of foods gets bad within the shortest time and the weather gets uncomfortable.

On sunny days you must be mindful of the clothes you wear, the fabric type, color and design are equally important. Black colors fabrics are to be avoided especially.

I decided to sew a long Summer dress of this very comfortable fabric I got from the market. I have used a portion of the fabric to sew a camisole for my sister earlier and when I found the fabric so comfortable I decided that I can be good to sew a Summer dress with it. It is very soft on the skin and a perfect outfit for a Summer day.

It's a camisole shape design only that it is quite longer. Take your off shoulder measurements and waist, hip and length measurement.
After tracing this out, you cut out both a front and a back piece

Cut out series of straps that will be used to turn the necklines and also serve as the sleeve.

Here I was turning the necklines first

After that I attached the sleeve straps and then joined the side seamlines and the hemming of the dress.

The beautiful thing about this dress is that you can decide to wear it like this or with an after top, jacket or anything. On summer days you rock the dress without jackets

And on raining days you can decided to add a jacket or a top right above the dress and it will be just useful for all seasons.

What do you think of the dress. This is just a temporal solution to lifestyle discomfort of the current climate but I hope that we all do better to protect our world. Human activities have contributed far more to the declining weather conditions and I hope that more people will become oriented and aware of how their activities can affect our world.
